Bright Side Early Care and Learning Center offers not one but two preschool centers in Orange! At both our Dogwood Village and Spicers Mill sites, we partner with families to provide excellence in childcare, daycare, preschool and after-school programs for their children. Our dedicated staff will encourage your child’s natural growth in physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development, with a solid foundation for their formal education years.

We partner with families to provide the best educational faith-based learning for their children. We provide opportunities for families to spend time together during Bright Side events, training classes, and other local events. We present well rounded, creative and educational curriculum children birth to age 12.
My name is Dori Boggs, and I am the Executive Director at Bright Side Early Care and Learning Center. For over 30 years, I have worked with children in private child care centers, private schools, and Head Start, taking on roles such as Teacher Assistant, Lead Teacher, Infant and Toddler Coordinator, and Director. I studied Early Childhood Education at Northern Virginia Community College and am currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Education: Early Childhood Education Interdisciplinary Studies at Liberty University.
In July of 2016, my husband Greg and I took a leap of faith and opened Bright Side at Dogwood Village. Recognizing the community’s need for quality childcare and early education, we opened a second location, Bright Side at Spicers Mill, in March of 2018. My husband joined us full-time as Operations Manager in December of 2018, bringing his IT and business expertise to our growing team.
On a personal note, Greg and I have been married for nearly 27 years and have four children: Genesis (22), Cyrus (21), Faith (19), and Naomi (13). We enjoy traveling, staying active in our community and church, and cherishing time together as a family.
