We are seeking a mature and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you must be dependable. You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment, and ensuring the overall well-being and development of our students. If you have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young minds, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement school age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for students
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Foster social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and effective classroom management techniques
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns or updates
  • Utilize technology and other educational resources to enhance learning experiences
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with school age students in a preschool education setting (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
  • Experience working with students who may require early intervention or additional support
  • Familiarity with various teaching methods, including hands-on activities, group work, and individualized instruction
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations

Skills:

  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Familiarity with preschool teaching methods and practices
  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Experience working with students of various ages and abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to provide care for graduating preschoolers and support current school-agers

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their daily lives? Our School Age Program is searching for two enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help support our elementary students. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who love to lead enrichment activities and provide homework assistance. As a valued team member, you’ll create a safe and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging enrichment activities for children ages 5 to 12.
  • Assist students with their homework, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
  • Transport children safely to and from elementary schools and on field trips using Bright Side vehicles.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and complete a 10-hour training course.

Extended Hours:

  • During school closures, winter, and spring breaks, we offer full-day programs with shifts of up to 8 hours.
